Bob Heuer, Chief of Police for the City of Castle Rock, stipulated to violations of the prohibition against using public facilities to oppose a ballot measure. Sheriff Nelson also stipulated to a $750 penalty. $500 was suspended provided the non-suspended portion is paid within 30 days and he is not found in violation of the prohibition during the next 4 years.
The Commission dismissed a 45-day citizen action letter alleging multiple violations of campaign finance disclosure laws by the Americans for Prosperity Foundation, David Koch, Charles Koch, Tim Phillips, John Flynn, Kirby Wilbur, Richard Alvord, W. R. Monkman, Ron Cohn, and Sarah Rindlaub.
Updates to the agency’s public records rules were discussed. Potential revisions will be reviewed during the April meeting.
PDC Interpretation No. 02-03 (Requests for Modification of the Requirement to Report Information on the Personal Financial Affairs Statement (F-1) for Lawyers and Law Firms) was revised to reflect recent requests and the resulting modifications.
Reporting modifications were renewed for:
· Michael Finkle, King County District Court Judge,
· Barry Seibert, Clyde Hill City Council Member,
· Rebecca Stillings, Rainier School District Board Member, and
· Mark Thompson, Thurston County Fire Protection Dist. No. 5.
