Description
Dear David Jaderlund:
The Public Disclosure Commission (PDC) has completed its review of the complaint filed by David Jaderlund on July 27, 2018. Your complaint alleged that James Liebrecht may have violated RCW 42.17A.335(1)(b) by making a false statement of incumbency on a pamphlet distributed to voters.
Based on our findings, staff has determined that, in this instance, the absence of language explicitly stating that the Respondent is not the incumbent does not amount of a violation warranting further investigation.
The PDC has closed the matter, and will not be conducting a more formal investigation into your complaint or pursuing further enforcement action in this case.
