Hirt, William - Alleged violations of RCW 42.17A.205 and .700 for failure to submit C1 and F1 reports.

William Hirt is a candidate seeking the office of Governor of Washington State in 2016.  Mr. Hirt failed to file a a Candidate Registration (C-1 report) and a Personal Financial Affairs Statement (F-1 report), and he was sent a Brief Enforcement Hearing Notice on July 21, 2016.  

At the August 5, 2016 hearing, the Presiding Officer found Mr. Hirt in violation of RCW 42.17A.205 for failing to file the C-1 report, and RCW 42.17A.700 for failing to file the F-1 report, and he was assessed a $500 civil penalty in accordance with WAC 390-37-165, payable within 10 days of receiving the Order.  He requested a review/reconsideration of the $500 penalty that was assessed against him, but the Commission upheld the initial Order.
