Governor Bob Ferguson has appointed a fifth member to the Public Disclosure Commission: Attorney Teebah Alsaleh.

Alsaleh, originally from California, graduated from the Seattle University School of Law. She started in family law, later transitioning to the tech industry. She is a senior corporate counsel at Microsoft, where she has worked for 10 years.

She has volunteered with several nonprofit organizations during her career, including the Washington Middle Eastern Legal Association of Washington, Kids in Need of Defense – a nonprofit founded in part by Microsoft – and various organizations working with children from underserved communities.

Alsaleh said the appointment to the PDC comes at a time when she was looking to return to a volunteer or public service role after having two children.

“Giving back has always been important to me,” she said, adding that she is eager to learn more about the PDC’s role in promoting political transparency in Washington.  “I am deeply interested in helping bring transparency to the public and in supporting enforcement of campaign finance and disclosure rules.”

Alsaleh’s first meeting with the PDC will be May 28. She is filling the position formerly held by Nancy Isserlis, whose last meeting was in August 2025. Her term will last through 2029.
