An entity other than an individual or registered lobbyist employer discloses the previous year's contributions totaling more than $20,000 given to state election campaigns* or independent expenditures exceeding $1,000 for political advertising supporting or opposing one or more legislative or statewide executive office candidates and statewide ballot measures.
*For the C-7 disclosure requirement, state election campaigns includes legislative or statewide executive office candidates and committees formed to support or oppose statewide ballot measures.
A business, union, association, organization or other entity that does not employ a lobbyist in Washington State reports:
Beginning October 18 and continuing through November 7:
Lobbyist registrations filed prior to October 1, 2016 will expire January 8, 2017. Lobbyist must file new registration prior to lobbying January 9 or later. Registering includes submitting a passport-size photo taken in the last 12 months and a short (50 words or less) biography.
