The complaint alleged Farrah Manning Davis, Dawn Tarantino, and Bree Kramer Nelson violated WAC 390-16-125 by exceeding the expenditure limit for mini-reporting.
PDC staff reviewed the allegations, evidence provided, applicable statutes and rules, and the responses provided by Farrah Manning Davis, Dawn Tarantino, and Bree Kramer Nelson to determine whether the record supports a finding of one or more violations.
All three candidates responded to the allegation and each provided documents showing the mailer cost a total of $1761.86 to print and postage cost a total of $1,995.
The responses stated the printing cost and mailing cost was spilt equally among the candidates, with the total cost to each candidate for printing was $587.29 and the total cost to each for postage was $665.
All three candidates responded to the allegation of exceeding mini-reporting, stating those costs, plus other election-related expenditures, did not total more than $5,000.
PDC staff has determined, in this instance, the alleged violations of WAC 390-16-125 by exceeding the expenditure limit for mini-reporting does not amount to a violation warranting further investigation.
Based on this information, the PDC finds that no further action is warranted and has dismissed this matter in accordance with RCW 42.17A.755(1) and WAC 390-37-070.
