Today, the PDC updated its online filing system for independent expenditure and electioneering communication (C-6) reports in June 2026. The changes were designed to improve user experience and align the process with other online PDC filing systems.

 On Jan. 1, the Public Disclosure Commission’s statutory citations will switch from RCW 42.17A to RCW 29B. 

This change does not affect the substance of the law, only its organization within the Revised Code of Washington. The new chapter is available online here.
