Description

The complaint alleged that Preserve Park Control, a local Kirkland ballot measure committee formed to oppose Proposition No. 1 on the November 3, 2015 general election ballot concerning a local aquatic center.  The Preserve Park Control committees principal officers are Rick Whitney, Ken McKenzie, and Mike Nykreim.


The complaint alleged that Preserve Park Control violated: (1) RCW 42.17A.205 by failing to timely file a Committee Registration (C-1pc report); and (2) RCW 42.17A.235 and .240 by failing to timely file Monetary Contribution reports (C-3 reports) and Campaign Summary Contribution and Expenditure reports (C-4 reports) disclosing contribution and expenditure activities as a political committee opposing a local ballot proposition.
