The complaint alleged that Jane Hague, an incumbent King County Councilmember and a candidate seeking re-election to that office in 2015, violated RCW 42.17A.405 by exceeding contribution limits when her campaign received a number of contributions totaling at least $14,000 from affiliated limited liability corporations and entities that were associated with her spouse, Ed Springman.
