Description
On 18 May 2017, the Public Disclosure Commission received a complaint that Kitsap County violated RCW 42.17A.570 by failing to timely file a public funds statement declaring that no public funds under the control of the treasurer were invested in any institution in which the treasurer held office, directorship, partnership interest, or ownership. The complaint also alleges that the Treasurer of Kitsap County provided an unauthorized exemption to the RCW by signing a T-1 on behalf of 14 port districts, 4 cities, one public utility district.
