#25194
Bruce McComas
William Biery
The Public Disclosure Commission (PDC) completed its review of the complaint filed September 17, 2017 alleging Bruce McComas may have violated RCW 42.17A.555 by using agency facilities to assist his 2017 campaign for Jefferson County Hospital District No. 2 Commissioner, Position 1, and RCW 42.17A.335 by falsely implying the political support or endorsement of public agencies or staff members of public agencies. PDC staff reviewed the allegations, the applicable statutes, rules, and reporting requirements, the response provided by Bruce McComas, and any applicable PDC reports and data in the PDC contribution and expenditure database, to determine whether the record supports a finding of one or more violations.
Staff has determined that, in this instance, the alleged use of public facilities by Bruce McComas to assist his campaign for hospital commissioner does not appear to be a violation warranting further investigation.
Based on this information, the PDC finds that no further action is warranted and has dismissed this matter in accordance with RCW 42.17A.755(1).
