Description
The Public Disclosure Commission (PDC) has completed its review of the complaint filed by Sophie Holden on April 5, 2018. The complaint alleged that Lisa Homer may have violated RCW 42.17A.205 for failure to timely file Candidate Registration (C-1 report) within two weeks of announcing candidacy for public office.
Based on our findings, staff has determined that in this instance, filing a C-1 Candidate Registration form six days late does not amount to a material violation warranting further investigation.
PDC staff is reminding Lisa Homer about the importance of the timely disclosure of all contribution and expenditure activities, including timely registration of campaigns. PDC staff expects the timely filing of all future PDC reports, including the C-1 report.
The PDC has closed the matter, and will not be conducting a more formal investigation into the complaint or pursuing further enforcement action in this case.
