Description

The complaint alleged violations of RCW 42.17A.235 and .240 by failing to timely file complete and accurate Monetary Contribution reports (C-3 reports) and Summary Full Campaign Contributions and Expenditure reports (C-4 reports).

The ILWU filed a C1-PC in 2014, 2017 and 2018. On each, the PAC selecting mini reporting as its filing option, stating it will raise and spend no more than $5,000 and will receive no more than $500 from any one contributor.

The PAC did not file a C1-PC in 2015 and 2016, however did meet the requirements for mini reporting those years.

PDC staff reminded International Longshore and Warehouse Union (ILWU) Local 52 PAC, about the importance of timely filings of all future PDC reports, including the C1-PC report. The PDC has dismissed this matter in accordance with RCW 42.17A.755(1) and will not be conducting a more formal investigation into the complaint or pursuing further enforcement action in this case.
