Description
The Public Disclosure Commission (PDC) has completed its review of the complaint filed by Kelly Anderson on June 9, 2018. The complaint alleged that Shon Smith may have violated RCW 42.17A.235 and RCW 42.17A.240 for failure to timely file contribution and expenditure reports for campaign signs.
Based on our findings, staff has determined that in this instance, the failure to timely file contribution and expenditure reports does not support a finding of a material violation warranting further investigation.
The PDC has closed the matter, and will not be conducting a more formal investigation into the complaint or pursuing further enforcement action in this case.
