Description
The Public Disclosure Commission (PDC) has completed its review of the complaint filed by Conner Edwards on June 19, 2018. The complaint alleged that Tye Menser may have violated RCW 42.17A.235 and RCW 42.17A.240 for failure to report the filing fee as an in-kind contribution or expenditure.
Based on these initial findings, staff has determined that in this instance, the failure to timely or accurately report the filing fee as an in-kind contribution or expenditure does not amount to a material violation warranting further investigation. Tye Menser made minor or ministerial errors on required reports, which did not materially impact the public interest. Upon notification of noncompliance, Tye Menser timely amended the reports, making the necessary technical corrections.
The PDC has closed the matter, and will not be conducting a more formal investigation into the complaint or pursuing further enforcement action in this case.
