Description

On June 28, 2021, the Public Disclosure Commission (PDC) notified the Respondent of an alleged violation of RCW 42.17A.700 for failure to file a Personal Financial Affairs Statement (F-1 report) disclosing financial activities for calendar year 2020, which was due to be filed no later than April 15, 2021.

PDC staff have reviewed this matter and found the following:

  • The PDC received the Respondent's F-1 report on June 29, 2021.
  • The Respondent completed a Statement of Understanding (SOU) and returned the completed SOU on July 12, 2021 and paid a $100 civil penalty in accordance with WAC 390-37-143 (Brief Enforcement Penalty Schedule), acknowledging a violation of RCW 42.17A.700 for failure to timely file the F-1 report due no later than April 15, 2021. The $100 penalty assessed resolves the allegation listed in this complaint.

Based on this information, the PDC finds that no further action is warranted and has dismissed this matter in accordance with RCW 42.17A.755(1)(a). The PDC will not conduct a more formal investigation into these allegations or take further enforcement action in this matter.
