COX SHARRON M: Alleged Violation of RCW 42.17A.700 for failure to timely file the annual Personal Financial Affairs Statement CY 2020 (GE 21)
Case #93981 Respondent name:
COX SHARRON M
On June 28, 2021, the Public Disclosure Commission (PDC) notified Sharron Cox of an alleged violation of RCW 42.17A.700 for failure to timely file the annual Personal Financial Affairs Statement (F-1 report) covering calendar year 2020 that was due no later than April 15, 2021.
PDC staff have reviewed this matter and found the following:
The F-1 report was filed on June 8, 2021, for a report period outside of the calendar year.
The F-1 was filed after the due date of April 15, 2021 but prior to the hearing notice being issued.
The submission of the F-1 report after the April 15, 2021 deadline, coupled with a longer-than-expected reporting period, made it appear that the F-1 report had not been properly filed. This led to a technical issue whereby we issued a Hearing Notice in error.
PDC staff will now close PDC Case 93981 administratively and remove Sharron Cox from our hearing list.
Based on this information, the PDC finds that no further action is warranted and has dismissed this matter in accordance with RCW 42.17A.755(1)(a) and WAC 390-37-060(1)(a). The PDC will not conduct a more formal investigation into these allegations or take further enforcement action in this matter.
Closed Administratively (Resolved 07/08/2021)
