Complainant

Description

The complaint alleged City of Buckley officials violated RCW 42.17A.555 for misuse of public facilities, specifically by allowing display of a banner promoting a candidate for public office on city property.

Based on the fact the city officials did not authorize the banner and worked to remove it as soon as alerted to its presence, PDC staff has determined, in this instance, the alleged violations of RCW 42.17A.555, does not amount to a violation warranting further investigation.

Based on this information, the PDC finds that no further action is warranted and has dismissed this matter in accordance with RCW 42.17A.755(1) and WAC 390-37-070.
