The PDC is fulfilling its mission to provide timely and meaningful public access to accurate information about the financing of political campaigns, lobbyist expenditures, and the financial affairs of public officials and candidates by publishing data in standard formats that can be used by anyone. This page contains a growing list of PDC datasets that are available through the Washington State Open Data portal. The datasets can be viewed, filtered, analyzed and visualized right in the data portal or downloaded and used with your favorite applications. In addition, programmers will find a rich set of capabilities for building their own apps using PDC data. Please review the metadata to learn more about what's included and special considerations. Active data sets are updated at least daily to include the most recent reports and filings. Some data sets only contain historical data and are not updated.
If you would like to get started right away, take a look at this short instructional video for a quick example of what you can do.
Would you like to participate in the continued development of PDC Open Data Program? The opportunities for civic engagement brought about by open data are continuously evolving and the PDC will respond through ongoing stakeholder involvement and iterative improvements to its open data systems. By making this process open and collaborative, the PDC and the public will have transparent access to not only the data, but to the process that makes that data available. Please consider participating in the PDC Open Data Program.
