New Officers Elected
Commissioner Katrina Asay will chair the PDC for the next 12 months. Commissioner Anne Levinson was elected vice-chair.
Enforcement
Staff summarized charges alleging that Jacob Taylor used facilities of the Grant County Auditor’s Office to assist his 2014 campaign for Grant County Auditor. The Commission accepted a stipulation that includes a penalty of $1,000, $500 suspended with terms.
Rule Making
The Commission continued its discussion regarding establishing alternatives to adjudication for resolving complaints. Draft language for amendments and new rules was approved. The Commission will consider approving draft language for the remaining amendments when it meets in July.
Reporting Modifications
Personal Financial Statement (F-1) reporting modifications were granted to:
Maud Daudon, Washington State Student Achievement Council, from disclosing the business customers that paid $12,000 or more during 2014 to Cascadia Consulting Group, Inc., an environmental and sustainability consulting firm, for which her husband is President/Principal and has a 45% ownership interest;
Jonathan Lisbin, candidate for Seattle City Council, from disclosing the business customers that paid $12,000 or more during the previous 12 months to Point It!, a privately held online advertising agency located in the Seattle area; and
Jon David Wisenteiner, candidate for Mercer Island City Council, from disclosing business customers that paid $12,000 or more during the previous 12 months to Horn Distributing Co. Inc., a privately held, family owned real estate holding company located in New Mexico
Personal Financial Statement (F-1) reporting modifications were renewed for:
Dan Kristiansen, State Representative, 39rd Legislative District
