Background & Findings

Lee Wells was a candidate for City Council in the City of Ridgefield in the 2023 election.
The complaint alleges failure file required C-4 (expenditure) Reports.
At an April 10, 2025, hearing at which this case was scheduled to be heard, Presiding Officer J. Leach said the PDC would dismiss this case if the Respondent filed the required reports within two weeks.
The Respondent filed all required reports within that timeframe.
Lee Wells does not have any prior violations of PDC requirements.

Resolution

PDC staff is reminding you about the importance of the timely disclosure of all contribution and expenditure activities, including the filing fee, and the timely filing of all future PDC reports in accordance with the statutes and rules.

Based on this information, the PDC has dismissed this matter in accordance with RCW 42.17A.755(1).

Any allegations regarding reporting by you for the 2023 campaign that are not otherwise addressed are hereby dismissed.
