The Public Disclosure Commission (PDC) has completed its review of the complaint you filed on October 16, 2024. The complaint alleged:
Violations of RCW 42.17A.235 & .240 for failure to accurately file required expenditure (C-4) Reports.
PDC staff reviewed the allegation(s); the applicable statutes, rules, and reporting requirements; the response(s) provided by the Respondent; the applicable PDC reports filed by the Respondent; and other relevant information, to determine whether the record supports a finding of one or more violations.
Based on staff’s review, we found the following:
The Respondent last registration filed with the PDC as a political committee in 2021 and selected the Full Reporting option.
Once contacted, the Respondent updated their account to adhere to the correct reporting schedule.
To the response to the complaint the committee timely filed 21-day, 7-day and post-general election reports.
Pursuant to WAC 390-37-060(1)(f), Washington School Principals Legislative Effectiveness Assoc., completed a Statement of Understanding (SOU) acknowledging violations of RCW 42.17A.235 and RCW 42.17A.240. This signed SOU resolves the allegations listed in your complaint.
