Description

The Public Disclosure Commission (PDC) completed its review of the complaint filed by Conner Edwards on October 11, 2024. The complaint alleged violations of RCW 42.17A.235 and .240 for failure to timely and accurately report contributions and expenditures.

• The Respondent was a committee registered under full reporting that participated in the 2024 election.
• On October 11, 2024, a complaint was filed against the respondent alleging late filed reports and failure to provide complete expenditure details.
• The respondent did file one C-3 late, which was not reflected on the C-4 covering August 1, 2024 through August 31, 2024.
• This did not affect the cash on hand balance on subsequent C-4 reports as the late C-3 was filed prior to the next C-4.

Summary and Resolution

Having reviewed the complaint and the supporting evidence, PDC staff has determined that the committee appears to have violated RCW 42.17A. Based on the guidance provided to PDC staff by the Commission at its January 23, 2025, meeting, this matter is being dismissed in accordance with RCW 42.17A.755(1) due to current caseloads. 

Any allegations regarding reporting by you for calendar year 2024 that are not otherwise addressed are also hereby dismissed.
