Description

On July 1, 2025, the Public Disclosure Commission (PDC) received a complaint alleging that Respondent Hollie Huthman, a 2025 candidate for City of Bellingham City Council Member, Position 2, may have violated RCW 42.17A.235 and .240 for failure to timely and accurately file contribution and expenditure (C-4) report(s), as required by law.

The staff's review found that the Campaign failed to file a timely C-4 report for the month of May 2025, as required by the statutory scheme. The staff noted that Hollie Huthman’s campaign received $1,650 in contributions and made expenditures totaling $725 for “filing fees” and one non-itemized expenditure. As such, the campaign was required to file the May report no later than June 10 October 10, 2024. The Campaign did not file the report until June 25, 2025 – 15 days after it was due.

Based on the above finding(s), the staff issued a reminder to the Respondent and dismissed the matter in accordance with RCW 42.17A.755(1).
