Description

The Washington Restaurant Association (WRA) is a first-time lobbyist in 2016.

The WRA failed to timely file the Monthly Lobbyist Expense report (L-2 report) for March of 2016, after receiving an L-2 warning letter for failing to file the 2016 January and February L-2 reports.  A brief Enforcement hearing was scheduled for August 25, 2016, to determine if the WRA violated RCW 42.17A.615 for failing to timely file the L-2 report for March of 2016.

Prior to the hearing being held, the WRA completed a Statement of Understanding (SOU) acknowledging a violation of RCW 42.17A.615 for failing to timely file the March 2016 L-2 report, and paid a $150 penalty.
