To add a new basic page, perform the following steps:

  1. From the admin toolbar, expand Content, Add content, and then click Basic page.
  2. In the Title field, enter the title of the page. The title will display on the page, at the start of the page content, and in the browser tab.
  3. In the Body field, enter the content of the page. Use the content editor toolbar to format the content and add images and videos.
  4. If a banner image is to be displayed on the page (in the area above the page title, but below the main navigation), then in the Banner Image section, click Add new media item or Add existing media item to have a banner image display at the top of the page.
  5. In the Save as dropdown menu, select the state in which you want the page to be saved. The options available to you will vary depending on the permissions assigned to your user role.
  6. Click the Save button.
