Description

The complaint alleged that Jim Cooper, a candidate for Thurston County Council in 2016, may have violated RCW 42.17A.235 and RCW 42.17A.240 by failing to timely and accurately report contributions and expenditures activities on C-3 and C-4 reports, including in-kind contributions.

 

 

This complaint (and 10 other complaints filed against Mr. Cooper) was filed with the PDC and the Attorney General's Office as a Citizen Action Notice (CAN).   The AGO and the complainant have both filed lawsuits against Mr. Cooper concerning many of the same allegations listed in the 11 complaints.

 

Therefore, PDC staff is closing administratively the remaining six complaints filed against Jim Cooper as noted in this letter, without taking any action, completing our review, or pursuing enforcement action.
