#149614
Edward Prince Jr.
Conner Edwards
A complaint was filed against Edward Prince Jr., a 2023 candidate seeking the office of City Councilmember for the City of Renton, alleging a violation of RCW 42.17.235 by failing to timely file the 7‐Day Pre‐ General Election Summary Full Campaign Contribution and Expenditure Report (C‐4 Report), as required for a 2023 candidate under the Full Reporting Option and appearing on the November 7, 2023 general election ballot.
On March 26, 2024, Edward Prince Jr. completed a SOU acknowledging one violation of RCW 42.17A.235 for failing to timely file the required C-4 report and paid a $150 civil penalty in accordance with WAC 390-37-143 to resolve the violation in lieu of having a BAP scheduled.
Based on these findings, PDC staff found no evidence of violations that would require conducting a more formal investigation into these complaints or pursuing any further enforcement action in these instances. The PDC has dismissed this matter.
