Description

Based on staff’s review, we found the following:

• Julieta Altamirano-Crosby filed a Candidate Registration declaring their candidacy for State Representative in Legislative District 21, selecting the Full Reporting Option.

• The C-3 disclosing a contribution with the deposit date of July 22, 2024 was filed 57 days late.

• The Campaign has amended their C-3 reports to fix the deposit date to reflect the date that they were received by the campaign rather than the date the contribution was made.

• The Respondent stated they are committed to complying with all reporting requirements and maintaining transparency. Going forward, they will ensure timely and accurate reporting of contributions and expenditures.

Based on this information, the PDC finds that no further action is warranted and has dismissed this matter in accordance with RCW 42.17A.755(1).

Furthermore, any allegations regarding reporting by this respondent for the 2024 campaign that are not otherwise addressed here are hereby dismissed.

Pursuant to WAC 390-37-060(1)(d), however, Julieta Altamirano-Crosby will receive a formal written warning concerning failure to timely disclosure of all contribution and expenditures. The formal written warning will include staff’s expectation that Julieta Altamirano-Crosby timely files all future required reports of contributions and expenditures. The Commission will consider the formal written warning in deciding on further Commission action if there are future violations of PDC laws or rules.
