Description

The Public Disclosure Commission (PDC) completed its review of the complaints filed by Conner Edwards on October 16, 2024. The complaints alleged violations of: RCW 42.17A.235 & .240 for failure to timely and accurately file expenditure reports.

 Background & Findings 

  • The Respondent first registered with the PDC as a political committee in 2012, and most recently amended their Committee Registration (C-1pc) on March 6, 2024. The committee selected the Full Reporting option. 
  • The Respondent acknowledged the required expenditure details were missing on C-4 (expenditure) reports.   
  • In response, the Respondent updated their account to adhere to the correct reporting schedule and amended C-4 (expenditure) reports to include quantities for political signs. 

Summary and Resolution

Pursuant to WAC 390-37-060(1)(f), Active in Democracy Tacoma Firefighters Union completed a Statement of Understanding (SOU) acknowledging violations of RCW 42.17A.235 and RCW 42.17A.240 for failing to timely file C-4 reports and not properly describing expenditures during the 2024 election campaign; and this signed SOU resolves the allegations listed in your complaint. 

Based on this information, the PDC has dismissed this matter in accordance with RCW 42.17A.755(1).

Any allegations regarding reporting by you for the 2024 calendar year that are not otherwise addressed are hereby dismissed.
