Description

The complaint alleged that Cascade Political Action Committee (Cascade PAC), a Continuing Committee, may have violated RCW 42.17A.405 and WAC 390-05-210 for making over-limit contributions and making an independent expenditure with collaboration of the candidate.

Pursuant to WAC 390-37-060(1)(d), Cascade PAC will receive a formal written warning concerning its failure to update its registration within 10 days. The formal written warning will include staff’s expectation Cascade PAC update its Committee Registration within 10 days of a material change. The Commission will consider this formal written warning in deciding on Commission action if there are future violations of PDC laws or rules.

Based on this information, the PDC finds that no further action is warranted and has dismissed this matter in accordance with RCW 42.17A.755(1).
