Description

PDC staff reviewed the allegations and evidence you submitted; the applicable statutes, rules, and reporting requirements; the applicable PDC reports; and other relevant information to determine whether the record supports a finding of one or more violations. 

Based on staff’s review, we found the following: 

The complaint alleged a lack of required detail on C-4 (expenditure) Reports. 

The Committee updated their expenditure detail to include the vendor and quantities of political advertising before they were notified of the complaint, but otherwise was substantially compliant. 

 Based on our findings, staff determined 20th LD Democratic Committee made a minor or ministerial error, which did not materially impact the public interest but needed to be corrected for the report to be in full compliance with the requirements of the chapter. 

 Based on this information, the matter is resolved as a technical correction pursuant to RCW  

42.17A.755 and WAC 390-37-060. The PDC finds that no further action is warranted and has dismissed this matter in accordance with RCW 42.17A.755(1).
