Background and Findings
• Washington Independent Telecommunications PAC is a continuing committee that participated in the 2024 election. • On January 9, 2025, the Respondent filed a C-3 report disclosing $12,500 received from the PAC’s parent organization. This report was 30 days late, having been due on December 10, 2024. • The Respondent previously was issued a warning regarding filing late C-3 and C-4 reports. This warning was issued after the report in question was due. As such, the warning is not considered to be an aggravating factor in this case.
Summary and Resolution
Having reviewed the complaint and the supporting evidence, PDC staff has determined that there is evidence of a violation of RCW 42.17A. Based on the guidance provided to PDC staff by the Commission at the January 23, 2025, Commission meeting, this matter is being dismissed. Based on this information, the PDC has dismissed this matter in accordance with RCW 42.17A.755(1).
Any allegations regarding reporting by you for calendar year 2024 that are not otherwise addressed are hereby dismissed. You are required to comply with all PDC requirements in the future, and failure to do so could lead to enforcement action.
