Description

PDC staff found:

  • The complainant sent an email to RoboCent on Jan. 15, 2025, stating: “Per RCW 42.17A.345, I am requesting to view your (Robocent’s) commercial advertising books of account.”
  • A representative of RoboCent replied Jan. 16, 2025, to provide the complainant records of its transactions with Washington state campaigns.
  • The complainant subsequently inquired about a missing audio file for one of the robocalls provided. The Respondent replied that the data was no longer available on the company’s servers.
  • On April 18, 2025, PDC staff reached out to the Respondent. In its reply, RoboCent stated that the audio file had been recovered from an archival server and that the complainant had been provided an opportunity to inspect the record.

Based on our findings, staff has determined that, in this instance, any violation that may have occurred was minor and has been cured. The matter has been dismissed
