It is time to register for the 2023-2024 biennium. A valid registration must be completed prior to any lobbying taking place. A registration is considered completed or valid, only if it has been approved by both the lobbyist and the lobbyist employer.

This 2-minute video demonstrates the registration process.

Lobbyists will have to certify that they have taken the latest version of the Legislature's Code of Conduct training, released September 28, 2022. Lobbyists can find the training at either of the following locations:

Washington State House of Representatives YouTube page Lobbyist Conduct 092022 - YouTube

Washington State Senate YouTube page Lobbyist Conduct 092022 - YouTube

You can certify each lobbyist’s completion of the updated training in the “edit lobbyist information” screen of the PDC lobbyist reporting system.

Questions regarding the code of conduct training itself should be directed to trainingsupport@leg.wa.gov.

Reminder: Re-registration is also a great time to update your lobbyist contact information, agent biographies, and photos. State law requires each lobbyist to submit a photograph taken within the last year and a brief biographical description.

If you need further assistance, please email us at pdc@pdc.wa.gov.
