Filing deadlines are extended for any unscheduled outage lasting 15 minutes or more, or any scheduled outage of 30 minutes or more.

Filing system outage - -

The PDC experienced an outage this morning to all electronic filing systems, except lobbyist reporting, public agency lobbying reporting and last minute contributions. The outage was caused by a configuration change made by the Washington central IT services agency.

Planned outage: most filing activity and some website functions - -

The PDC’s IT team will be performing a database upgrade on Wednesday July 6, 2022 that will affect most filing activity and some website functionality. The planned outage is scheduled to begin at 5:30 a.m. and last for no more than two hours.

The outage will affect access to ORCA, Financial Affairs, Campaign Finance and C6 reporting.

Campaign finance and lobbyist reporting systems down - -

Due to a vendor outage, access to the PDC's Online Reporting of Campaign Activity, campaign registration and lobbying reporting systems was interrupted early this morning. The vendor reports it restored connection at 5:47 a.m. and is continuing to monitor for issues. 

Resolved: Filing system outage for C6, L5 and LMC - -

We currently have an outage for the C6, L5 and LMC applications, affecting filing of independent expenditure reports, filing by public agencies and filing reports of last-minute contributions. Additionally, the issue affects the viewing of the following: C6, L5 and LMC reports, and any C3/C4 reports which were filed prior to March 15, 2022.

UPDATE at 11:45 a.m. March 28: This issue, which was caused by WaTech network changes, has been resolved.

Lobbyist filing system outage - -

Between 7:45 and 8:15am the Lobbyist system was experiencing an outage during a routine software update.

Outage resolved - -

The Public Disclosure Commission systems outage that began about 9:15 a.m. today has ended. It affected filers' ability to use ORCA, F-1 and campaign registration systems.

Service provider issue blocking electronic filing - -

SAW error blocking access to ORCA, campaign registration and F-1 systems - -

A problem with Secure Access Washington's authentication service is causing outages for users of ORCA, campaign registration and the F-1 financial affairs filing systems. The problem has been reported to SAW. The PDC does not yet have an estimate for restoration of service.

Original post: Beginning at about 2 p.m. the Public Disclosure Commission was experiencing an outage that may affect filers' ability to use ORCA and other systems.

Intermittent outages for F-1, campaign registration and ORCA - -

Due to an issue with third-party cloud services, some users of the Financial Affairs (F-1) system, campaign registration and Online Reporting of Campaign Activity (ORCA) may have experienced connectivity issues or outages between 10 p.m. June 7 and 4 a.m. June 8. The issue has been resolved and all systems are operating as expected.
