Sign up to access PDC filing systems through WA.gov

The Public Disclosure Commission has switched its login provider from Secure Access Washington (SAW) to WA.gov. Over the coming months, other state agencies will also make this transition. 

Starting May 4, 2026, all filers must use WA.gov to sign into PDC filing systems.

What this means for you:

  • If you’re a new filer, you’ll need to sign up for a WA.gov account before filing with the PDC. See detailed directions on creating a WA.gov account.
     
  • If you currently file with the PDC, you’ll need to transfer your access to your PDC account from SAW to WA.gov. 

Follow the instructions below to complete the process. You can also watch an instructional video on the PDC's YouTube channel.

For new PDC filers

  1. Go to the PDC’s online filing system and click Sign in.

  1. Choose your path:

    If you already have a WA.gov account, choose Sign in, and you will be prompted to enter your WA.gov username and password.

    If you do not have a WA.gov account, choose No, I need to create one, and you will be automatically redirected to WA.gov to sign up.

    When you've finished, you will be given the option to return to my.pdc.wa.gov, where you may complete the next step.

  1. Back at my.pdc.wa.gov, you’ll see the message shown below. Select No, I’m a new filer, and begin filing with the PDC.

For returning PDC filers

  1. Go to the PDC's online filing system and click Sign on.

  1. Choose your path: 

    If you already have a WA.gov account, choose Yes, Sign in, and you will be prompted to enter your WA.gov username and password.

    If you do not have a WA.gov account, select No, I need to create one, and you will be automatically redirected to WA.gov to sign up.

    When you've finished, you will be redirected to my.pdc.wa.gov, where you may complete the next step.

  1. Existing filers must now transfer their PDC secure login from SAW to WA.gov. Select Yes, transfer my access.

  1. Next, you'll be prompted to enter the SAW username and password that you previously used to access PDC systems. This allows the PDC to associate your existing user account with the new WA.gov login. Enter the information and submit.

  1. Click Finalize to complete the transfer.

  1. Click Continue. You will be redirected to the PDC's filing dashboard. You can edit your contact information later, if needed. 

    From now on, you'll use your WA.gov account to log in. You'll no longer be able to use your SAW credentials to log in to the PDC's online filing system.
